Dean has given us many of our ideas for renovations over the years. These renovations have improved the quality of our lifestyle particularly as we live close to the sea and we have wanted to captivate the sea views.   Our most recent extension and upgrade has been a superb new kitchen, which has capitalised on more of our sea view and links to our outside living with additional bi-fold doors. This project was completed in the estimated time and the workmanship was outstanding down to every last detail. Dean Hassall and his team have just completed an extensive renovation to my house in Fitzroy.  This work was undertaken in difficult conditions under time constraints. Starting from the discrepancies between the designer & plans to the certificate of compliance from the District Council.

This job was never going to be a straightforward renovation, as the job changed frequently due to unforeseen problems arising. Consequently Dean and his crew had to think on their feet most of the time, keeping me informed of any issues.

Dean and his crew were very easy to get on with and were always willing to listen and make suggestions as the job progressed from day one to the day completed.

I thoroughly recommend them to anyone about to start any sort of renovation.

We are very happy with our new bathroom. Our entire bathroom was stripped back and everything is now new and gleaming. I was very impressed when dealing with Dean from our very first meeting and I had absolutely no hesitation in going to work and leaving Dean and his team to get on with the job. Dean worked hard to ensure that he knew exactly what we wanted from the job and gave some great advice – ideas we would never have thought of. The workmanship was excellent by Dean and all of the tradesmen employed by him. It was fantastic to have all the contractors organised by Dean so we didn’t have to worry about that side of things. Dean was able to supply us with a timetable of the work to be done and the job was completed within the given timeframes. We now have our dream bathroom – thank you Dean.

I have known Mr Hassall for in fact a very short time.  Our meeting was  on a random selection basis from various companies I contacted in New Plymouth in March of this year.  My objective was to enable the refurbishment of (Anne) my  sister’s bathroom within a ‘very tight time frame’.  In consultation with Anne and family it was decided to have Mr Hassall to ‘do the job’.  Dean came to Anne’s home, met her and viewed the job along with seeing Anne’s needs.  He offered support in what we were attempting to do and alternatives for us to consider, in order to meet our needs.  Dean was, on each of two visits most professional, courteous, friendly and sensitive to our situation, along with the time frame alluded to above.  Dean was a maestro in action!  He led his chosen team of two carpenters, two plumbers, one painter/plasterer, one electrician and one floor-covering expert, and they all worked in concert – with Dean at the helm.  This led to a successful and ‘on time’ completion of the task.  His interaction and communication with his team and our family was simply a joy to see in action and to be part of.  Each day the site, materials and tools were diligently cared for and attended to.

I believe Dean’s work ethic, leadership skills, along with his total professionalism, care and sensitivity to clients needs are excellent and beyond reproach.  I am indeed happy to furnish further details if requested.
